Synopsis

"ONLY HUMAN" part one! Superman finds himself side by side with Lex Luthor once more, but is his former foe truly committed to being a hero, or is it just a ruse to gain the Man of Steel's trust? As world events point to something dark on the horizon, the mysterious Mr. Oz makes his final move against the Man of Tomorrow.

Plot

After the events of Godslayer, the Revenge Squad and Mr. Mxyzptlk, Superman's head isn't hundred percent in the game. He is trying to keep himself busy, with rescuing submarine crews and ending world conflicts.

The latter leads him to the Caucasus Mountains of Georgia where he hears gunfire and calls for help. When he arrives he saves a small village from mind controlled mercenaries and their wolf companions. It is not long before Superman learns that the Machinist is behind the attack and that the attack is happening all over the globe.

When Superman sees the tech that Machinist is using belongs to Lexcorp, he pays Luthor a visit. Luthor denies that he is working with Machinist and that the tech was stolen from him. The pair team-up to track down Machinist to his hidden base on the Kashmir/India border but they are ambushed.

The unlikely team of Lex and Man of Steel seems to be overwhelming Machinist mind controlled army but then Machinist is able to mind control Lex in his super-suit and Luthor turns on his former ally.
